Welcome to Piedaho!

Welcome to Piedaho! For those of you just discovering our pies, welcome and I am glad to meet you, and for those of you who have been following our pie escapades for the last year, how do you like the redesign?  I have been busy on all fronts the past few months, buried in fruit, sugar, butter and flour. I had a blast this summer crafting pies for the Wood River Farmers Market every week, and loved getting to know our local fans over samples of pie cookies and cream pie. We were lucky to have lots of helping hands, nieces and cousins and Grandmas, pitting cherries and peeling apples to help us keep up with all the pie lovers. I also discovered some new farms that provided us with delicious berries like the Peters Family Farm in Twin Falls, and revisited places like Kelley’s Canyon Orchard and Tubb’s Berry Farm for their berries cherries, and peaches. The weeks went by in a blur, so many pies, and so many peaches! Another highlight was teaching a pie making class at Rudy’s, a Cook’s Paradise in Twin Falls, and sharing some of my pie secrets. I always love seeing the beautiful pies everyone makes. Now, the weather is dipping, well, not dipping, actually frigid, and its time to focus on what we think is pies favorite holiday, Thanksgiving! We have streamlined our site and made ordering your favorites like the Blue Ribbon Brown Sugar Peach Pie (yes, we stocked some away for your Thanksgiving table,) and the Salted Caramel Apple Pie even easier. We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you!
