Sweet, tart with a little crunch equals heaven. The tart cherries are paired with Bourbon and a topping made with lots of oats, sugar and butter. Bourbon and cherries are a classic combination. They remind us of tasty cocktail, a Manhattan. Lots of deep, earthy, caramel flavors that adds layers of flavor to the pie. We have a soft spot for cherry pie and this new incarnation maybe our favorite yet!
Ingredients: Cherries, flour, butter, sugar, oats, vegetable shortening, tapioca starch, Bourbon, vanilla extract, almond extract, apple cider vinegar, salt, lemon juice, egg
Pie comes in a 10 inch tin and serves 8-10 people.
