Brown Butter Almond Plum Galette
Plums are just starting to come into season and we couldn't resist buying a few to play with. These first of the season are sweet and when paired with the almond extract gives you the nutty, sugary flavor of a french breakfast pastry. We had some brown butter crust that seemed like the ideal wrapper to enhance the nutty notes of the extract and the florally notes of the plums. We cant wait for summer to be able to play with these juicy stone fruits even more!
Pie comes in a 10 inch tin and serves 8-10 people.
