Cherry Crumble Galette
It's finally cherry season and we are excited and somewhat terrified! All those pits, but cherry pie happens to be a family favorite. We decided to go cherry picking and boy did we get some beautiful bing cherries from Kellys Canyon Orchard in Filer, Idaho. They are bright red, sweet, with just a hint of tartness. We cooked them all up into a decadent compote and then folded them into a galette with a Oat brown sugar butter crumble. Heaven!
Pie comes in a 10 inch tin and serves 8-10 people.
