Pear Pie with Pistachio Frangipane


This pie is something special as it takes some of your favorite elements of fall and winter and combines them into one bite. The sweetness of the pear gets a little punch from the warmth of nutmeg, and the slightly salty pistachio frangipane gives you that classic salty/sweet combo. It is almost like you are eating your favorite elements of a cheeseboard, minus the cheese!

Pie comes in a 10 inch tin and serves 8-10 people.
