One of our favorite drinks is a matcha latte, so it got us thinking, could we make a matcha pie?! We played around with the flavors and found the ideal balance between the earthy sweetness of the green tea powder and the delicate sweetness of strawberry. With matcha in the dough as well as in the filling, you taste its subtle perfume and by adding to the dough, you get this amazing bright green crust. Perfect for spring!
Pie comes in a 10 inch tin and serves 8-10 people.
