Strawberry Plum Pie
We are having a field day with the stone fruit right now as they are so juicy and sweet and plums were a perfect foil with late season Idaho Strawberries. We love how the fruit, together with the hint of ginger, creates this deep, jammy flavor that is so decadent. Once cooked, the berries release their sweet, subtly tart juices and it is like you are eating the best piece of fresh homemade bread slathered in jam! Who says you can't have pie for breakfast!
Pie comes in a 10 inch tin and serves 8-10 people.
