Strawberry Rhubarb Pie with a Brown Butter Crust


When rhubarb starts teasing with its glorious pink hue, it truly mean spring is coming. We grabbed as much of the first batches we saw and turned them into these delicious Strawberry Rhubarb Pies. This is a classic old school pie combination, a little sweet, a little tart and a lot nostalgic. To give it a Piedaho spin, we wrapped the juicy fruit in a brown butter crust. The nuttiness of the crust combines with the filling to give you this toasty, jammy pie that would certainly be the star of any Easter spread.

Pie comes in a 10 inch tin and serves 8-10 people.
